Bignor Roman Villa Stone Age to Norman

An excellent start to the two day multiperiod event at Bignor Roman Villa.

Considering it was forecast as the hottest day of the year, Apollo clearly was elsewhere as there was a strong breeze and overcast most of day, luckily we're had just packed up before the wet stuff starting spitting.

A very appreciate audience for both arena displays, and some very engaging visitors.

Some excellent fights, especially mixing and mismatching time periods.

Full credit and praise to everyone who participated in the arena, there were some excellent combat moments.

Huge thank you to everyone who attended today, and made it such a success... roll on day two... Cheers all

Bignor Roman Villa Day Two Stone Age to Norman

Well Apollo certainly shinned on us, stunning blue skies and sunshine as the day went on, but the wind was bitter and gusty and was pretty relentless the whole day.

Sadly not so many visitors but those who did arrive were very interested and supportive.

Some excellent fights once again, and in fairness was more of an in kit training session which really allowed folk to experiment.

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend and support the event, and made it such a successful and relaxing weekend.
