Arundel Castle Joust Week July 2023

Back to the castle for the Champions of Champions Joust, and a chance for the group and associated friends to strut our stuff as well.

Very changeable weather throughout the six days, yet 12,000 visitors passed through the gates, no activity cancelled nor any arena activity not take place.

Huge thanks to Myal and Peg for playing whatever the weather, Whatapalaver and Ben Jingles for putting smiles on everyone's faces, Hawking About for some superb flying demonstrations, all in Past Presents and Bowstrings Archery for all the have ago activities, Clare Goodall for entertaining visitors within the grounds, and all the Demonstrators and Traders for their support.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event, your time and support always much appreciated... Thanks to all who helped out with food provision, cooking and serving, but it's Morag who I'm singling out for hanging over the cauldron the most and coordinating it On a personal note, huge thanks to Tina and Andy, and to everyone who was there with hug, kind word, chocolate or Monster.
