Day One - Meet the Romans and Britons

Grey and overcast start yielded to a very sunny, hot and beautiful blue sky day.

All three arena displays had veery good number of visitors, and plenty stayed around most of the day. Some great and entertaining combat, and wide variety of static displays.

Thanks to everyones who were able to attend and support the event, and who made the first day so successful.

Bignor Roman Villa Meet the Romans and Britons Day Two

Although numbers were very reduced, another really great day at the villa, with similar numbers to yesterday, and everyone stepping up display wise.

I doft my hat to James and Rhyse this weekend.

Not only being thrown into a new time period, but for how much combat they have done, and how good they are were moving and how well they fought.

Respect gentleman, well done.

Once again some visitors stayed around all day, and the weather gods again provided sunshine and clear the skies for most of the day.
