Day One Bignor Roman Villa - Stone Age to Norman

A really stunning day weather wise at the villa, and although not a huge amount of of visitors, those there were really interested and chatty.

Some great table displays, plenty of interaction with visitors, and some some impressive combat.

Huge thanks to everyone who attended and supported the day, back to morrow for day two.

Day Two Bignor Roman Villa - Stone Age to Norman Period

Well what a difference a day makes, as the saying goes.

Thick dense mist in the valley, and decidedly colder and damper.

Luckily the weather gods soon burnt away the mist, and although not as warm and skies greyer it proved to be a very nice day.

One of the busiest days the villa has had at an event, total contrast to yesterday, and plenty of very interested and engaging visitors.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the weekend.

Really successful two days, and really impressed at everyones displays, kit and interaction with public.
