Arundel Castle History Day, 3rd June 2021

Huge thank you to everyone who who was able to support the History Day at the castle.

Breeze certainly helped cool things down (tad too gusty for the castle awning at Bakehouse Tower) but the weather was remained warm and sunny for most of the day.

800 visitors, more in afternoon, and certainly more engaging and chatty today, and very appreciative of everything they saw.

Great to be joined by Myal and Peg, Clare the Story Teller, Mike from Greenwood Archery, and Mandy from Bowstrings Archery... Music was a great addition to the day...

Some great displays (albeit windswept), and demonstrations from everyone.

Well done all, a great day, and great company... Cheers and much appreciation
