Joust Week 15th Century, 21st - 26th July 2020

So this would have been the start of Joust Week at the castle, and like previous events it remains a casualty of the virus.

Although we lament the loss of foot combat at this event, it does give us lots of scope for demos, craft, show and tell, and trade, and there is always the dry moat for a little practice on the side.

So this cartoon was requested by the castle for their website so keep an eye out to see what they do with it.

So still keeping fingers crossed that we get a chance to do something historical this season, ever hopeful for August, and September.
